Man, it is HARD! I like my voice when I&#8217;m playing live &#8211; it will usually do the job for me. But when I&#8217;m laying down for posterity &#8211; yuck! Who AM i?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve discovered that I can&#8217;t really lay down believable\u00a0vocals unless I&#8217;m 100% sure of what I&#8217;m saying. I need to believe it to convey real emotions, and that&#8217;s what hits people. And I can&#8217;t be 100% sure of what I&#8217;m saying or feeling unless I really get in touch with who Julia is. So how do i feel about this situation? What do I mean by &#8220;Gonna hide in a motel&#8221;? What&#8217;s my motivation?
